Can you leave baggade in train stations in London?

I wanted to do some sidetrips & sleeper trains and need to leave baggage somethere on some days in London. Is it true that you can leave them at some luggage offices? And how much it cost. Thanks!

Mainline London train stations have left-luggage but at IMO predatory rates - several bucks per bag so try to consolidate all into as few bags as possible. In the past the London Baggage Company has run station luggage counters. Available but not cheap.

Yes - most of the London mainline stations have left luggage. Costs £8 per item.

$14 per bag = predatory rates that I just cannot believe they allow - must not be open to competition.

$14 per bag!

The price charged is absurdly high, vastly more than at railway stations elsewhere in Europe. The company is called the Excess Baggage Co and the word "excess" is very appropriate.
Only a very few British railway stations have a left luggage service. In some places, you can leave luggage at a bus station, tourist office, café or taxi office, but other places, including Bristol, have nowhere.

I suspect that the X ray machines don't come cheap
