Can You Help Me Find a Paris Apt Rental
 

I'm looking for a 1-bedroom apt rental for 8 nights October 19-26, 2007. My budget is between $1,500 and $1,800 for the 8 nights. I prefer the 1, 3, 5 or 7th Arr. and a balcony would be lovely.

I do enjoy cooking, so a well-equipped kitchen would be nice. It's also important that we have an actual bed (no pull-out or futon).

I always trust my fellow Fodorites. Any recommendations?

have you looked at any of the apartment websites that are recommended here..like www.vrbo.com and many others?

many people will do research on their own and come up with a few and then ask for help or need comments to narrow down the selection.

I have rented a one bedroom with a terrace in the 1st/2nd arrondisement. It is behind the Louvre. It looks lovely and comes with good recommendations. Cost is 145E per night which is approximately $200 US right now. Everything is included. Here is the link:

Sorry, I have should have said I have rented it for an upcoming trip. I have not stayed there yet but am looking forward to it. Also, the owner John Knutson was quick to respond to emails and very easy to work with.

I have researched apartments on VRBO and a couple of other sites -- it was a bit overwhelming and I thought that I might just cut to the chase and start with some Fodor-recommended apartments first.
