We made our reservation with them through the Romeby site (part of the Italyby site). This service worked very well - we also booked our hotel in Spoleto through the Italyby site. It worked very well. They provide vouchers via e-mail which provides your confirmation of reservation. You present these when you check in. Perhaps you should try going through that site.

I had wanted to book this hotel this spring, so I filled out the reservation request form on their website. They sent me an email, which appeared to have gotten cutoff in the middle, i.e., it ended abruptly and was incomplete. I replied to the email and asked them to send me the rest of the information, but they never responded, and I ended up staying elsewhere. I wish I had followed up on this -- I should have faxed or called. Some hotels don't seem to manage their emails well and you have to find other ways to communicate with them. It sounds like this hotel would have been worth the trouble, so I'll give it another try on my next trip to Rome.

Suki - I stayed in this hotel in May of 2003 and absolutely loved it. Perfect location - the small cobblestone streets do not allow cars (except for delivery vehicles) so it is very quiet. Fantastic little shops all around as well as a stone's throw from Piazza Navona (the best place in Rome IMHO). The staff was extremely friendly and our room was spotless. Would go back there in a second!

Thank you all for the replies. I lost track of this thread and just pulled it back up. I'm glad I did. Sandi, do you still have the e-mail address you used by any chance? It's odd that our experiences would be so different, maybe someone new is in charge of their reservations or something.

This is the one I used. I even just recently re-confirmed my December reservation. Something that I found works for me, when I'm not getting a response, is putting "Please Respond" in the subject line.

Here's the email address:
