Can you comment on any of these Rome restaurants?

Do you mean "Pizza San Calisto"? It's in Trastevere, and there is a Fodor's GTG there this week or next. If the GTG interests you, look for posts by SeaUrchin for details.
Al Moro is near Trevi. It is reputed to stick all tourists in the back room; the owner-manager only speaks to celebrities. Or so it is said.
Mario's: Is this the one on Via delle Vita (near Piazza di Spagna)? It's a small Tuscan restaurant, quite acceptable but not outstanding. And Mario talks to ALL his customers.

Eloise,
We lived practically next door to Il Moro, but thought it was overrated. After being seated in a poor location, we were quickly moved to the "better" room, but our waiter had a strange, sullen attitude throughout our whole meal and even served me an expensive artichoke first course which I had not even ordered. Twelve euros for 2 elegantly presented artichokes swimming in olive oil? Yikes! Needless to say, we did not return although the rest of our the meal was good but expensive.
