Hi tc,

The Marozzi bus goes from Rome Tiburtina (15:00 daily and 07:00 Fri-Sun) to Sorrento Piazza Tasso and back.

You take the SITA bus or the ferry from Sorrento to Positano.

However, I see some websites saying the the Marozzi bus goes from Tiburtina to Praiano, which is closer to Positano, but I don't recall seeing any when we were in Praiano.

PS,

I went to the website (which isn't working) and Positano is listed, but it says I can't buy tickets and won't give me schedules or fares.

Sorry I can't help.

Hi tcc girl-
you asked for someone who can speak Italian- I can , and rode the Marozzi bus from Sorrento to Rome last year.

The website is working. The bus to Positano leaves from Tibertina at 7 am and is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 ( but this is subject traffic and to conditions on the Amalifi Coast road. It stops at Chiesa Nuova in Positano.

It takes awhile for the website to spit out information, so I couldn't grab the fare an must go back to work now. I think I remember I paid about 20 Euro, but my memory is awful today! Good luck!
