Can I use a U.S. power strip in Croatia?

I am in the U.S. and planning to travel to Croatia and Mostar (Bosnia&Herzegovina) in June. I carry digital cameras and such things that will need to be charged every night, and use a laptop at the same time. I know my chargers and laptop can handle U.S. 110v to 240v in Croatia.

I am wondering if I can use my U.S. power strip that would have 6 American grounded outlets if I use an appropriate adapter. Do I need to purchase a special 220-240v power strip such as this one from Amazon? http://amzn.to/hHSfgr

Which type of adapter should I use -
# Adapter for "Type C" European CEE 7/16 Europlug
# Adapter for "Type E/F" European CEE 7/4 or CEE 7/5 Schuko
as explained on this web page http://bit.ly/b6SJ2j

Thank you!

US 110V power strips are not rated/certified to work in Europe on the 220V.

I carry one of those small 3 prong T adapters with me when I travel. It too is not certified (with a CE label) for use in Europe, but...

But a power strip when you get there! Don't mess with 220 volts!

If your appliances are 3 prong with that extra ground pin, you use Schuko adapters, if not you use Europlug adapters.
Europlugs do fit into schuko sockets too, all sockets you'll find in the country will be schuko.

Definitely do not use a 110 volt power strip on 220 volts. See http://tinyurl.com/2y9zvv.
