Can I/should I check through luggage from an Aegean flight to Olympic?
 

We will be flying to Rhodes on Aegean (got the 19 Euro fares both ways) and then going to Naxos, which is only served by Olympic. Will Aegean check through our luggage to our Olympic flight? Due to the flight schedules, we will have over 4 hours between flights, so would it be a better idea to collect our luggage and take it to Olympic and go back through security again?

I've never flown into Rhodes so I don't know for certain, but if it's anything like Santorini, then it's so small that you'll probably have to pick up your luggage from Aegean and transfer it to Olympic. You could always email Olympic Airways and ask.

I just called Olympic Airlines to ask if there is a reciprocal agreement between Aegean and Olympic regarding baggage handling/transfers, and the answer was a resounding, "NO." You will have to collect your baggage when you arrive back in Athens for your flight to Naxos, and then recheck them with Olympic when you check in for your flight to Naxos.
