Hi bmr,

Have you checked www.voyages-sncf.com?

There's no train station at Orly. There is an RER station nearby, but no regular SNCF station. And that RER line goes into Paris, not towards Fontainebleau, anyway. I think it would not be too far from Melun, which is on the RER D line. I don't know how much it would cost by taxi from there, or there might be a bus. You could get to Melun from Orly without going into the center of Paris, but you'd have to transfer a couple times and it wouldn't save you any time compared to doing it more directly.

The station for Fontainbleau is Fontainebleau-Avon on the conventional SNCF railway line from Paris.

The only way to get to this line from Orly is to get a cab to the Gare de Lyon, or the RER, changing at Chatelet.
