Can anyone suggest some good/reasonably price hotels in Milan

I would like to be as central as possible. I will be going for shopping. Love Duomo area but was at the Westin Palace last time near the major train station. Help Help.

Sarah -- try this hotel. We stayed there this summer and it is VERY centrally located, very close to the Duomo. You should be able to find info about them on the internet. We thought it was a great place, though a little difficult to find!

Sarah, we also stayed at the Antica Locanda dei Mercanti May 2000 & left it was a great price for location. We took a cab there and the driver had no problem finding it. You just go to the address though, no big sign outside or anything. Rooms and baths are small but nice. Beds & linens are devine.... Staff extremely helpful and native English speaking when we were there.

A friend and I sayed at the Hotel London which was about $75 a night. Very big for European hotels! And about 3 blocks from the Duomo, large bathroom, great shower, tv, etc. The staff was very nice!
