can any recommend a website for paris maps?
 
Ineed a metro map, attractions map.. where different areas of paris would be..

hotels? attractions? mainly buses/metro maps would greatly help!

RATP has the transport maps - click on a metro station or bus stop and you'll get an option to open a "plan du quartier".

This looks quite good as an overview of what's where:

or you can use www.pagesjaunes.fr to swap between map, aerial and 3D views or street photos for any given address:

or of course Google maps, with Streeview.

Google maps is good for public transit info as well... metro stations are marked with an "M" in
a white circle with a blue edge... single left click on one and the metro lines and transfer points show up as well.
