cameras in carry ons

I am flying US Air from Philadelphia to Venice and then back to Rome.
Can I carry on my digital camera?

As of right now you can Barbbroom. Here is the TSA website which shows what is and what is not allowed.

Yes, I just brought mine but I would do as the other poster mentioned and keep checking the TSA website...

Camera equipment is listed under Electronic Devices on the TSA list of Prohibited/Permitted Items. Cameras can be in checked or in carry on baggage. I always take my camera in my carry on. If you have film, you will definitely want to pack that in your carry on.

Barbbroom,
I returned from Frankfurt last month on USAIR. I was able to take my 22" suitcase and my camera bag with digital camera (it's comparable to a big shoulder bag) both as carry-ons. I had no problems.
