Calling France from US--What's the best dial-around number?

I so rarely call international, that I have forgotten the best number to use for cheap per/minute international long distance without a monthly commitment fee. Anyone use a good one?

Hi B,

For short calls, use 1016868. It's about 10 cts/min.

For long calls, use 1010987. There is a connection charge, but much lower per minute rates.

For years i've been buying calling cards at my local Chinese store that cost about 4 cents a minute to France - they come in as little as $5 cards - no connect fee and they nearly always seem to work

current one i have is Lucky 7 - call to get one i guess or info: 800826-6689

you just need a PIN number to use. Also varying good rates to other countries and even in US.

there are many other cards but i get this one because it's the cheapest one to France i've found, save www.skype.com type internet calls.
