calling collect from Ireland
 
is it possible to place a collect phone call from Ireland to the states and have it billed to a third phone line. e.g if i were to call my daughters while I am in Ireland ,can i bill it to my home phone ? many thanks

It will be much, much cheaper if you buy an international calling card.

International calling cards are available at the little kiosk in the airport (or just about anywhere else) and come in denominations of 5, 10 and 20.

you can also get international calling cards at places in the US like costco.

I'd wait until you arrive in Ireland - the cards sold there seem to have better rates per minute than those sold by Costco.
