Calling A UK Landline From Turkey

Imagine this: Your credit card has been blocked and you need to call your bank to get it sorted out.

What's the best way of calling a landline in the USA from Turkey?

In the USA, I have an app called LocalPhone, which lets me call numbers overseas at dirt cheap rates. Any similar apps in Turkey (although this probably wouldn't work unless they were in English)?

If you have a British mobile, you may call on that and the cost would depend on your local package, which you may improve before your trip.

Or you can use the hotel phone which could be costly especially because it takes long minutes to reach the person in your bank.

Or you can ask your bank if they are reachable with whatsap.

Or, if you're staying a week or longer in Turkey, you can buy a prepaid Turkish sim card which could cover these types of emergencies.

British Vodaphone is one of the top three providers in Turkey, so if you get their sim card or if your British carrier is Vodaphone, your roaming charges could be minimal.
