Call centers in Paris,Rome

Hi all.

Anyone know of a good long distance call center to call the US from Paris, Rome, Genoa?

Considering getting a sim card good for France and Italy but I don't know if I will be making that many calls anyhow.

Thanks.

Staying close to Musee d'Orsay in Paris and close to the Spanish steps in Rome.

Why not just buy a phone card once you get to Europe? For 5 Euros you can get a card that will allow you to call US from any phone for 30-60 minutes? These cards are readily available in Paris and Rome (no doubt Genoa too).

That's reasonable.

In Italy, you can buy the Europa card at any tabacchi and get 200 minutes of international calls for 5 Euro. You will get less than the 200 if you use a pay phone, but it's still a very cheap way to call the US.

I just came back from Paris and england, used my unlocked gsm phone, and bought a sim card from www.1world1sim.com, they have a $100 sim card that comes with $100 talk time. The sim card comes for free, service was ok, the best thing that incoming calls were free. My kids were able to call us non stop.

In France, you can find a similar card at any tabac shop for about the same price and minutes. Calling cards are the ONLY way to go overseas for inexpensive easy to use phone minutes back home!
