Calalzo/Cortina bus information

We will be travelling to Italy next week! We are taking the train from Venice to Cortina once we fly in on Sunday. Does our train reservation (Venice/Calalzo/Cortina) include a transfer to Cortina by bus when we get into Calalzo? Or do we buy a bus ticket? We found the Dolomitibus schedule online, but we can't figure out the cost of the bus parts of the trip. How much does Calalzo to Cortina cost? Then Borca to Calalzo?

Thanks for your help!

Been there done that...a great unheralded scenic rail ride from Padua, where you change from Venice to Calalzo, end of the line and buses are out front - we had railpasses which were not good on the bus so bought tickets in the tobacco shop inside the sleepy Calalzo station - can't remember price but it was dirt-cheap as all transit in Italy seems to be. A neat bus ride. If going onto Austria this is a novel route as buses link Cortina to the Austrian rail system nearby at Dobbacio (Italy) which has trains to San Candido and then into Austria - Salzburg or from Dobbacio to Fortezza, on the Brennero line for Innsbruck - as i remember it was an Austrian train we boarded even though it went through this part of italy. Cortina - three stars in my book! Remember a weird corpse of some saint in town church.

Cortina is fab. You'll love it. There will be great hiking for you. It is a very posh place for Italians-esp during the ski season. Great food. Try the ravioli like dish with beet inside-sounds wierd, but its good. I was there in Oct and remember hearing all these sheep and looking out the window and the shepard was just taking the sheep down the road to another mountain pasture.
Have a nice holiday. Sorry no info actually given on the bus info you asked about.

PalQ....do you recall if there is luggage storage at the sleepy little Calalzo station? We are heading out hiking and need to store stuff.

Thanks

Well can't recall but in these type of stations you can often ask someone and they may accommodate you - i kind of remember it being unstaffed however so i don't think you could depend on it. Don't know but will top in case someone else can recall. Ask the tobacco stand person if nothing else but be clear on when you will need it in case they close.
