cafes/restaurants near Harlingford hotel, London

Hi,
I am going to London with husband and 4 year old daughter later this month. We will be staying at the Harlingford Hotel in Cartwright Gardens. Do you know some nice, kid friendly restaurants or cafes nearby?
Also nice places for coffee/sandwiches...
Thank you
Katrine

You're in luck - The North Sea fish Bar in Leigh St is one of the best fish and chip places in London. It has a take-away and also a very nice, semi-formal restaurant. It's the bees-knees.

Katrine - I know Cartwright Gardens but have never stayed at any of the hotels in that cresent. I do photograph their wonderful window boxes everytime I go to London and love walking around that area. I don't remember seeing the North Sea Fish 'n Chip shop but will defintely go there next time. There are burger bars & coffee shops on Euston station. We stayed just around the corner at the Ibis and used Euston a lot.

If you get the comedy show “Black Books” you will know Leigh St. It’s filmed there.
