Cadiz or Malaga or Nerja?

If you had to choose between taking a day trip to Cadiz, Malaga, or Nerja (in order to spend time at the beach with a toddler) which would you choose?

If Cadiz, we'd take day off from Seville, Malaga-day off from Cordoba, and Nerja-day off from Granada.

Thanks!

Málaga city is fabulous, but there are better beaches in Nerja and Cádiz. Pedregalejo, a little east of the city center would perhaps be the best option. Several affordable and great seafront restaurants here also. Both the beaches (Las Acacias) and the restaurants are very popular with locals. If you decide for Málaga, there is a high speed train between the two cities in less than one hour.

If you decide for Málaga, there is a high speed train between the two cities in less than one hour. Bus to Pedregalejo leaves from the next door bus station in Málaga. Taxi from the train station to Pedregalejo would be some 12-14€.

The Bus to Pedregalejo is nº 11, from Alameda to El Palo. Alameda is a 10 to 15 min. walk from train station.

After being in Seville and Granada it might be nice to have a more relaxing side trip. I went to Nerja from Granada a few years back and loved it. It's a small town, has a small plaza and pretty church, and the Balcon de Europa with some beautiful views. There are British and German tourists as in most towns in Malaga, but still locals so you feel like you're still in Spain.

If you choose Cadiz, also great, there is a town called Conil de la Frontera that you might like. Small, nice beach, and great seafood restaurants, famous there for their grilled tuna. Amazing sunsets too! The beaches in Cadiz city are ok but the ones on the smaller towns much better.
