Cadiz

Hello,

We have three (3) days left of our trip in southern Spain to plan and I wander if Cadiz would take up a whole 3 days, apparently it is an ancient city - any advice / ideas of what to do.
Thanks in advance

Do you want to keep very busy or have lots of lazy time? For touristy things to do, I'd visit the local tourism website for inspiration. We also spend a fair amount of time just wandering, eating, visiting the market, etc.

If you find yourself with a 'spare' day, you could visit Jerez by local train (if not already visiting there). There are also other nearby towns accessible by train or bus.

We found Cadiz quite interesting. Two nights might be just right or three with a day trip

Thanks Happy - yeah, I think it would be interesting, it is an ancient city - did you get into that aspect of Cadiz? Although it will be nice to see the sea and beaches but I would prefer getting into the old town. Any recommendations of where to eat?

A tour of the white villages would be fun. Some of the tours also visit Jerez.

Thanks eurohop, have done the white villages, I basically want to know if Cadiz itself is worth spending 3 nights at (but do appreciate your imput) - any suggestions on good hotels preferably close to the Old Town?
