Buying TIM card on arrival - Rome or Orvieto?
I'll be arriving FCO, training to Termini and then on to Orvieto. Is there somwhere in Orvieto that I could get a TIM? If not, which would be easier,FCO or Termini?

There are TIM kiosk in stores all over. You can wait until Orvieto. Termini there are also plenty of stores.
Sounds like your off to a great trip. Will you be in Umbria the entire time?
Here's a video introduction to Umbria:

And another on riding the trains:

Thanks. I won't be staying in Umbria except for my first two nights in Orvieto. I just didn't want to fool with getting it FCO or Termini as I will just be coming off the overnight flight (and Ambien).
I'm using a phone my daughter bought when she lived in Spain two years ago. I've never bothered with a phone before, but it seems people want to "keep in touch" this time. I got the phone to charge and now it's asking for a PIN #. My daughter doesn't remember if she set the pin or if it will be something that comes with the TIM card. The phone instruction book is in Spanish and DD is away at grad school so can't translate it for me. The info book for her SIM purchase is there too (she was good about keeping the box it came in and all the paperwork), but of course, it's in Spanish.
What should I expect to pay for a TIM? I won't really be using the phone much so want need lots of minutes.
