Buying tickets for London shows from online sites

Hi,
How do I know which are reputable sites for buying tickets to shows in London? Does anyone have experience with the site www.showsinlondon.co.uk? I searched the forum and someone here mentioned londontheatrebookings.com, but how do I know what is legit and what is not. I am also checking the theatre sites, but other sites seem to be cheaper. Just want to make sure I actually get tickets in the end...and not get ripped off. I don't want to wait for the day and go to TKTS booth.
thanks

I always buy directly off website of the theatre where the show is attending if not through tkts.

I usually use the theatre's own website for booking, and have generally not found them more expensive. I have also used seetickets.com.

This is the website run by and for all the London theatres. All the others will be commercial re-sellers (whether they are reliable and price fairly, I have no idea, but don't need to find out):

Unless you alert your credit card, the charge may not go thru on a foreign site (CC thinks it's fraud - I found this out when buying tix from the US from a London website)

I bought tickets for two different London shows (for March 2013) from http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/ . Had no problem, but probably not the cheapest price you could find.

I don't know if you have done this before, but if not... the website will send you a confirmation email with a confirmation number and your confirmed seat assignments. You present this printed email to the theaters ticket booth before the show starts and they will give you your tickets (took seconds).
