Buying Ryanair tickets online

I tried about 4 times to buy tickets for my sons to go from Dublin to Barcelona last night for a trip in late May. Ryanair kept rejecting my credit card. I called the Visa card contact and they said there had been no request from Ryanair to even charge the tickets. Has anyone had any luck buying tickets online or had similar problems for intra-europe travel? I bought tickets on Vueling last year and had no problem.

Does it give a reason why it's rejecting your CC? Do you have any other CCs or debit cards that you could try?

I travel with Ryanair at least once or twice a month and have never had a problem with any of my credit cards. Sometimes i have been told that my session has been frozen and that i need to check my e-mail account. If it has accepted your card you will get an e-mail confirmation. If you have no e-mail confirmation, then try again as its possible it could just be the system was playing up.

Do you have any other credit card you can use? If you are required to enter address and telephone number information, make sure it is exactly the same as for your bill.

just make sure with ryanair that even though you print your boarding pass, you must pass by their ticket office for them to check your passport if not an EU one.

thanks everyone. I am going to try again with my son's credit card (and his address) since I am putting tickets in their name.
