Buying a Ukrainian SIM card

I am planning to go to Ukraine in the near future and I got some friends there. All of them are on the carrier called Life. I found a site that offers Life Sim cards for sale. But the fee is 25 euro, which is kinda like a rip off:

On this page http://www.poltavatravel.com/article...ng-in-ukraine/ they say that I can easily buy a SIm card for any mobile operator once I land Borispol airport in Kiev. Is this true? Are SIM cards sold in KBP? Do they cost less than 25 euro?

Hello, lorryJan!

You can easily buy any mobile Sim card in any city of Ukraine. You don't even need any documents for it. Life Sim card costs 20 UAH (less than 2 euros) in the city. It may cost a liitle bit more in KBP, but surely not 25 euro!!
