Business Elite

I've upgraded a coach ticket on Delta from NYC to Rome. Is it worth the 40 FF miles? What is the difference between Business Class and Business Elite, if any?

I believe that Delta's Business Elite (a trademarked-term) is simply a reference to their business class service on trans-oceanic, international flights.

To me, forty thousand FF miles equates to about $700-800 USD. And it will be an excellent use of those miles.

Best wishes,

Rex
Delta no longer has first class and has upgraded their business class tickets to Business Elite. It is nicer than their old Business Class with lots of leg room seats that recline a lot. My only complaint is that the leg rest does not come up far enough to lay flat which causes my feet to swell. Considering a Business Class ticket costs about $3,000 you probably did good!

topping real questions, seeking to get things back to travel, even if only a little bit...

Hello Anna,
I flew Delta's Business Elite to Rome from Atlanta in April. It was very well worth the 40,000 miles, in my opinion.
Oh to afford it all the time!
A.M.
