Bus to Bevagna and Montefalco from Spello- help please

Based in Spello, no car, for better or worse, already decided on!

I remember reading somewhere in the forum that it was quite doable to visit both Bevagna and Montefalco in one day trip.

Trouble is I can't find the information.

Can anyone please advise on which is the advisable route- Bevagna or Montefalco first ?

I believe the bus would depart from Foligno train station.

Thanks in advance for all tips!

I've tried to figure it out from the spoletina.it website but I confess I'm confused!

Can't work out the route/timetables

Has anyone travelled this bus route- Spello-Bevagna- Montefalco or Spello-Montefalco-Bevagna?

Am I being too ambitious?

Already figured out daytrip to Assisi ( bus) and Perugia (train) and thought Bevagna/Montefalco would make for another pleasant day trip- but open to suggestions if there is an easier option- don't want to travel too far. Trevi maybe??

There are buses from Foligno to Bevagna and Montefalco. Also from S. Maria Angeli (which is the train stop for Assisi and then you catch the bus up to the hill town) to Montefalco.

On the Spoletina website, select servizi extraurbani next to orari. Click on B and scroll down to Bevagna. Click Bevagna for the bus info.

You can train easily to Trevi, but it's a trek from the station uphill. Click servizi urbani on the Spoletina website and check for local buses.

There's also the little regional train line FCU which you can catch in Perugia to a few towns. Click ferrovia on Spoletina.

This website will be much more helpful:

www.umbriamobilita.it

Here is the webpage of buses out of Foligno:

http://www.umbriamobilita.it/it/orar...xtraurbano?l=F

From Spello, it's a very short hop to Foligno (you could do it on a bicycle), from where there are bus services all over.
