Bus Service Between Spoleto and Norcia

Hi, I was trying to look for bus schedule between Spoleto and Norcia from Umbria Mobilita website but couldn't find any. Is the bus service still operational? Thank you.

Are you asking about a specific bus number or just want a bus between them?

Sorry, one more question. Does this bus carry bike?

I haven't ridden that particular bus, but most rural buses I've used had luggage storage underneath. You are usually expected to open/store/close yourself. When getting off, you usually have to remind the driver you are retrieving luggage so they don't pull off. Here's a pic of an Umbria bus, but don't know the one you want will be the same. You can see the handle to open the luggage area below where it says Umbria Mobilita (black handle).

I have taken the bus between Spoleto and Norcia several times. You board in front of the train station in Spoleto Tickets are sold in the station café or newsstand. It is a very scenic and pleasant trip. While I have no experience, you can probably place your bicycle in the luggage compartment, but you MAY need to dismount the bike if it won't fit. If there are very few pieces of luggage (very often the case), it probably will fit without removing the wheels.

Thanks for the advice.

You might need a ticket for your bike too. Be sure to ask.

Hi, I am back. Had a great time especially taking the once-a-week bus service to Castelluccio. The weather on that day was just perfect.
