Bus Lucca to Pisa airport?
 

There seems to be a bus called VAI which leaves Piazza Verdi at 45 minutes past the hour. I presume it also runs back from the airport to Lucca. Does anyone have experience of this? Hours, days, prices, reliablility?

Thank you Ira, yes I am but it involves a change at Pisa Centrale and seems to take a very long time! I was hoping for something less painful.

Unless I'm reading the timetable wrong, the bus is not faster than the train through Pisa Centrale. I can't evaluate the "pain" issue.
