bus from Madrid - Barajas to Burgos

Is one side -- right or left -- preferable?

Thanks!

One side of the bus? Or Burgos?

It seems I wasn't very clear!

When taking the bus from Madrid - Barajas T4 to Burgos, are there better views from one side than the other, and if so, which side do you recommend -- right or left (when facing forward, meaning facing the driver)?

(And no, ribeirasacra, I don't plan on DRIVING the bus! ;-) )

If you have a window seat on the right side you'll see the Norman Foster designed Bodegas Portia (www.bodegasportia.com) as you pass by the village of Gumiel de Izán. A little further up the road you'll see the four spires of the Parador de Lerma, the Ducal Palace. And of course you should be able to see the cathedral in Burgos as you enter the city. The bus station is on the south side of the river.

If you could stop in Lerma, there is a great place for roast lamb, Casa Brigante (www.casabrigante.com/es/lerma/). In Burgos, you'll want to have lunch at Restaurante Casa Ojeda (restauranteojeda.com).

Sorry that I can't help with this, kja. I sat on the right-side aisle but my seat mate and I talked the entire way to Burgos! Actually too much chatting for me at that time of the morning! LOL!

@ Robert -- thank you so much! That is exactly the kind of info I was hoping to learn.

@ joannyc -- I hope your seat mate realizes how fortunate s/he was!
