Bus from Lisbon to Evora--need help please!

Hi,

We are arriving in Lisbon by plane on July 25 around 8:00 am. We are to then find our way to the bus station and take the bus down to Evora (my parents will be driving up from the Algarve to meet us in Evora).

I looked on www.rede-expressos.pt and found that there is a 10:30 bus to Evora, but I can't tell what station in Lisbon it leaves from. Is it the Sete Rios station? Rick Steves' book says this is the main station for intercity buses.

Also, is a cab the best way to get from the airport to the bus station?

Thanks much!

There are now also direct trains from Lisboa to Evora, with a journey time under two hours (www.cp.pt).

Thanks, Geoff! I checked out the site, and unfortunately it seems the only trains are at 8 am or 2 pm, nothing in between, :(

Yes, it is Sete Rios station. Take a taxi.

yes, you can take a taxi from the airport to the bus station. It should only cost you approx 10 - 12 euros. Also, have you tried Eva?
