Bus from Florence to Vinci
 

Hi all,

We are planning on making a day trip to Vinci, from Florence when we are traveling to Italy in October. Are there daily connections from Florence to Vinci?

I have looked on www.sita-on-line but can't find any reference to Vinci...my italian is obviously not up to the task...

I inquired about the same thing at the tourist office in Vinci. Here's their response:

there are no direct buses from Florence to Vinci.
I recommend you to take a train from Florence to Empoli and then a bus from Empoli train station to Vinci.

There are buses that leave from Empoli to Vinci approximately every half an hour-45 minutes. The bus company is COPIT (Buses are less frequent at weekends!)
