Bus from Civita to Orvieto
Does anyone possibly have the bus schedule from Civita to Orvieto? We'd like to leave Civita in time to catch a 5:28pm Orvieto train back to Rome.
Also, does anyone know whether it would be at all difficult to hire a taxis in Orvieto who could take us to Civita around 1pm? (and approx $)

If you're sleeping in Orvieto the previous night (which I heartily recommend), ask the hotel to arrange a cab for you and to let you know the price. Our hotel arranged a taxi for us to the train station quite early on a Sunday morning.

Has anyone ever stayed in Civita at the B&B? I've heard that Orvieto is somewhat filled with tourists, so I was thinking of staying in Civita (I know its very small). Does anyone have experience or an opinion? I don't think we will have a car. Thank you.

Do you understand just how small Civita is? "Village" might be too large a concept for it, you know. It's basically one street. I think it would be charming to stay there for a night, but that's about it.
You will have to walk across the bridge to get to Bagnoreggio, the main town.
Orvieto may have lots of tourists, but it is a lovely town with several excellent restaurants, a friendly, casual atmosphere, and ample opportunities to get away from the crowd if you like.
