Burgundy Wine Trail
I am traveling to France in two weeks and I want to visit the Burgundy Region, starting in Dijon, then visitng Beaune, and maybe ending in Macon. I want to visit the wine route, but I have search for maps of the trail, and so far I have had no luck. Can anyone help me.

Hi costasrl and cigale
excellent choice! ;-)
have a look at this site,
http://www.terroirs-b.com/english/wine/wines.htm
you can find maps when you click on the left side of the home page on "the domains", then choose the part you want to see, côtes de Nuits, côtes de Beaune etc...
Where will you be staying in Dijon?
have a nice stay!

The Herbert Didier book is an excellent choice. DH and I used it for our first trip (now 4) to Burgundy. Also, look at the website www.burgundy-tourism.com. Lots of info there

Thanks to everyone for the help. I looked out for the information provided and it was great. It will help me a lot.
I was planning to travel to Paris, for a day, from Dijon. I am thinking of taking the TGV, but I have one concern. Do I really have to purchase the ticket on internet on advance. Is it really a purchase or is it just a reservation. Is there any chance of purchasing the ticket directly on the train station the same day of the trip???

of course you can buy your ticket at the station, use a machine, efficient and fast but if it is fully booked... a normal "corail" train takes 3h to go to Dijon and it is a bit cheaper but I don't want to waste my time on trains TGV takes 1h30 only...
you can consult the sncf website from my website if you want.
enjoy!

You can definitely purchase your ticket right at the station, though if you are traveling in two weeks that will be just about the time that a few million French people will be traveling south for their holidays. It's not inconceivable your train will be sold out.
Also you'll pay full freight if you purchase on the spot, whereas online you may find the discounted PREMs tickets, sometimes for as little as 19€ apiece.
