we will be in Paris at the end of Feb and we were thinking we would like to go to Burgundy for a few days. We would take the train and perhaps stay in Beaune. Then were hoping for a tour company that offers tours to the various vineyards. the point is to be able to do wine tastings and not have to worry about driving our own car. anyone have any suggestions? Feb/Mar might not be the ideal time buit we were going to Paris anyway and it will be less crowded. Thank you! Beth

Wine-tasting in Burgundy is a little different from here at home; not all of the smaller vintners (and they are in the majority) offer tastings, although a number of the wine villages have a central tasting room where for a fee you can taste. But if you take a tour you will no doubt have better options than going on your own.

I've been to Burgundy quite a few times to buy wine, but not at wineries. I go to négociants where you see the dégustation sign and taste and buy. You'll find them in Beaune, Nuits-St-Georges, and small villages around the area. Rent a car for going out from Beaune. The N74 is the road to know.
