Bullfighters in Spain

If you are west of the Eastern time zone tune in to 60 minutes on CBS tonight. There is a thrilling show on bullfighters. Olé!!

Exciting - no! Disgusting animal cruelty - yes!

Boycott the show!

nytraveler, you continue to put yourself in an undesirable position. My guess is you love it.

The 60 minutes program was fine.

ribeira, not the Spanish government but the government of the capital region of Madrid has declared bullfights as part of their protected heritage.
If you read the article, you would have noticed that there is no uniform support or opposition among the Spanish autonomous communities.
Bullfights have long been outlawed in the autonomous community of the Canaries.
Catalonia, the second largest community, has voted to outlaw bullfights and is currently in the lawmaking process.
