bulgaria or hungary?
 

hi! i'm planning to go to eastern europe spring 2003 (i've never been), but i've only got 2 weeks. my itinerary will start from the czech republic & ends in turkey. obviously, because of the lack of ample time, i would have to pass on quite a lot of countries. which one should i choose, hungary or bulgaria? thx, folks

I'm not an expert, but I liked Hungary better. Bulgaria was one of the very few countries I have ever been in that I have no desire to return to. People just weren't very nice to us, while in Budapest they were great.

Budapest is a terrific city to visit. Also, you can take the train easily to Zentendre (sp?). This is a beautiful village that I really enjoyed. Only about 1/2 hour out of Budapest.<BR><BR>Sue
