Budhapest or Istanbul
 

Folks,

I am flying on a RW trip this September(1st week) and I am wrestling with the final destination in Europe (I have already decided on Moscow & Athens) and was considering a couple of days in either Budhapest or Istanbul. Any suggestions or experiences for a two day jaunt to either of these destinations? Your suggestions would be most appreciated!

Have never been to Budapest... but four times to Istanbul - each time we discover something new to see - as well as re-seeing our favorites..

Can't help you we loved them both. I don't think you can go wrong with either pick.

I have visited both and loved both. If I had to choose, it would be Istanbul because it is so different than most other European cities. Exotic would be a good adjective.

Having visited both I'd opt for Istanbul since all in all I think there would be more to see and do.
