Hi rainy day

Is your breakfast included in your hotel rate? I was once able to negotiate an included breakfast in Paris, since we were staying longer than a few days. Maybe you can, too?

Another good place, this one located on Place Dauphine at the tip of the island (just off the Pont Neuf bridge), is Ma Salle a Manger (at least I think that is the name of it). Nice guys running the place and good, inexpensive food. They also serve an incredibly rich hot chocolate. It is a small cafe and very casual.
