Budget Travel
 

I'm looking for a magazine called Budget Travel or something like that. A friend told me it was published by Foror's. I comes out quarterly.

I can't find it in the bookstores in my area.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am sure if Fodor's published something like that it would be mentioned back on their home page. If not e mail them direct. They will answer you. As for Budget travel two great websites are www.eurotrip.com and www.ricksteves.com. Rick has a little book you can order w/ great tips, its called "Europe Through the Backdoor". If you need help on airfare check out www.fly.virgin.com/atlantic. They have posted fares good through May 31 (high season starts June 1) LAX to Brussels (Mon-Thur) is $249. For another $80 they will fly you to Rome, Nice, Milan, Copenhagen, Madrid or Barcelona. I think they also fly in Amsterdam as well as UK. Click on "Specials" and it brings up all the UK sites.

My guess would be Budget Europe Magazine. They have 4 'On the Scene' issues per year. They travel to Europe each year so they are current. We have gotten some great trips from them and support them by buying our train passes from them. Call them at 1-800-441-2387, ext. 80 and please tell them you heard about them from a very satisfied subscriber since 1984.

Budget Travel is a new magazine put out by
Frommers. You can get info at www.frommers.com

Arthur Frommer's BudgetTravel is on the newsstands, folks, and it's a wealth of information, even for seasoned travellers. Just read it almost cover to cover over the weekend and learned a lot. If you buy it, don't miss his editorial at the beginning and end of the issue -- those alone are worth the price of the magazine.
