Budget hotels in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona?
 

I'm looking for budget-priced accommodations (under $50/night) in the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona for a trip in early November. I'd love an interesting place with some character, any suggestions??

I am not trying to be antagonistic to any who choose to post to the threads dealing with the plane hijacking, WTC collapes and other murders which occurred today. <BR> <BR>But I encourage us to return to as many of the activities of normal daily living as possible, and not allow ourselves to give in to the paralyzing effects of cancellations, gridlock and hand-wringing. <BR> <BR>And to that end, I propose to put a few good and unanswered questions back up to the top. <BR>

Try www.bcn.es/english/ihome.htm <BR>Then click Tourism , Accomodation, Hotels. There are obvious things to click in then such as"barrio Gotic" <BR>This will get you a list of hotels and for each one you follow up there is a map link os that you know where you are. <BR>Most are wary of dealing with booking calls in the evening.
