Thanks, although the B&B I like in Bloomsbury is still cheaper.

Nice link, thank you. We had one heck of a deal at a London Travelodge a few years ago. Less than $50 US, for a room for 3 of us. Gotta love when you can find a bargain that works!

@thursdaysd---What is that Bloomsbury B&B that you like?

This is practically next door and a bit more upmarket: http://arosfalondon.com Ditto, but a bit more downmarket: https://www.jesmondhotel.org.uk |
Noting for future reference. Thanks, chartley.

Some of those look good. I usually stay at either Comfort Inn Buckingham Palace Road or Travel Lodge Waterloo. Both in the same price range as those mentioned and both very well located (at least I think so).

Marking for future reference.

thursdayd- we stayed in The Staunton on our first trip to London n 1980 with 3 children under 11. It's in the same block on Gowerville street as the ones you show . Was a bnb for social/council housing for a while but I see it's back to being a hotel/bnb. stauntonhotel.com
