Budget Hotel or B&B in Copenhagen
 

I will be in Copenhagen for business in Dec.and am planning to stay a few extra days to explore the city-any suggestions for decent budget hotel,b&b in the city-thanks in advance!

I'm heading to Copenhagen in November and am staying at the Hotel Absalon. I have never been, so I can't recommend yet. I've heard great things about Hotel Nebo though. These hotels are both in the central part of the city.

A year ago I stayed at the Cab Inn in Aarhus. It was fine ---- and for DK it was very moderately priced.

They are "pre-fab" hotels, which is one way to beat the high cost of Denmark.

They also have a property in Copenhagen, which is centrally located. It is my intention to stay there on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Danhostel have a property in Copenhagen, they have rooms with private wc and shower.

I just spent a few days at the Cab Inn City on Mitchellsgade. I thought it perfectly located for tourism: a five minute walk from the train station (and its easy link to the airport), Tivoli, and the Glyptotek, for example.

I had a standard room at 525 DKK a night. Although very small, the rooms are clean and quiet.

The front desk staff were very helpful, but I noticed there tended to be a line up around the check-in desk late in the afternoon and through the early evening.

There are two PCs in the lobby with free internet access and there is free wireless in the lounge area.

If you decide to add in breakfast, they offer a buffet for 50 DKK. You'll find coffeem tea, milk, juice, bread and rolls, yoghurt, various cereals, cold cuts, and cheese.

We stayed at Hotel Nebo, just a 2 minute walk out of the railway station. There are several categories of rooms to choice from, we stayed in a 2 bed room that had a washbasin and used the bathrooms down the hall. Never had to wait and it was very clean. The breakfasts were great and better than some more expensive hotels we stayed in.
