Budget hotel in Dublin

My daughter and her boyfriend are looking to finish their trip to Ireland with two nights in Dublin this March. I know the city is expensive, but I'm hoping someone can recommend a cheaper option. Any ideas? Thanks everyone!

What's their nightly budget?

I've stayed here and found it quite nice for not too much money.

Hi again. Just checked a couple random dates in March and found rates as low as 99e on the weekend up to 125e+ for week days.
Hope that helps!

PS-You remind me of my mom, she's so helpful when it comes to travel planning. Well, she's helpful with many other things, too, but she also loves to travel and is a great researcher.

I stayed at the Charlesville lodge and last year and they had a deal if you payed for 3 nights the forth night was free. It included breakfast. It was a 15 minute walk to downtown. The reviews on Tripavisor are pretty good. I was pleased with the accomodations. I believe the price was 75 or 85 euro a night which is good for Dublin.

Its the Charleville Lodge. Just checked their website. 75 euro for a standard room. 95 for a superior room. We splurged for the superior room. It was nothing fancy but nice enough.
If you do stay there, there is a reasonable cafe/cafeteria nearby called the Lovin Spoonful that made very good home stye meals. Great soups and breads.
