budget airline: Frankfurt to Prague
 

Does anyone know if there are budget airlines that fly from Frankfurt to Prague? (I'm planning on taking the 8 hour train, but would prefer to save some time if possible.) Thanks in advance for any info.

It looks like you would have to fly from either Cologne or Dortmund, based on whichbudget. I think it would likely take about 90 minutes to get to either of those airports from Frankfurt.

But check Lufthansa and major airlines also - they sometimes have specials.

No low-cost carriers use the main Frankfurt airport (FRA) because of steep landing charges. As stated, LH sometimes has specials. Train is also pleasant and covenient.

Thank you. I will keep a look out for any LH specials, but otherwise I think it makes the most sense to take the train and enjoy the ride.
