We're going to Prague in June and 3 of us are staying at Arcadia Residence which are apartments but include breakfast. We are getting a rate of 360 euro for 4 nights that's NOT per person. http://www.arcadiaresidence.com/
Just thought you might want to check them out! Amy |
I haven't stayed in either of those places, but I stayed in the Pension Tara last March. They had good prices and a great location between the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Might be worth checking out. Have a great trip.

Thanks Amy & capkirk for the replies.
And what about Sir Toby's Hostel? Has anyone stayed there before? Thx! Grace |
Another place you might want to look into is the Lida Guesthouse. I stayed in a small single room last April with private bath for the US equivalent of about $30 a night. It was less than a five minute walk to the metro station or the tram stop.

We stayed at Residence Belhidraska (spelling?) and loved it. It was very cheap. Check my trip report for a link and further details.
Cheers, the turnip |
I haven't been there yet to see it for myself, but I found a room at a place called the By The Green Garland b&b for 68 Euro a night. It seems like a good location, close to the Charles Bridge.

I stayed at Prague Room http://www.pragueroom.com/index.htm a couple years ago in the Chestnut apartment. I can only vouch for that one -- didn't see any of the other rooms/apartments but for the price it was very nice. Great location, big main room with one big bed and three singles, a nice kitchen - it wasn't very well stocked with pots and pans, etc but it looked pretty new. It also has a nice large bathroom with a separate room for the toilet.

We used Athos Travel and stayed at Hotel City Inn for close to $100/night for a triple. It was a little loud at night, but the room was huge and the location was good.

I have not stayed at Miss Sophie's or the Czech Inn but we stayed at Old Prague Hostel. You can check out their website at
http://www.oldpraguehostel.com It was a great place to stay in the Old Town Square. Not 5 minutes walk to the Astronomical Clock, and the Jewish Quarter. As well just around the corner were metro and tram stops. We also received free breakfast, internet and linens. Check out the price list as we had a private room and didn't pay much at all. Hope this helps you out. :) Have a good trip!! |
I also stayed at the Pension Tara a few years ago. Loved the location and it was very cheap. Also liked that it had a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. But it was certainly "budget" in terms of furniture, etc. but if that doesn't bother you it would be worth considering.
