Budapest hotels - Ibis Heroes or Ibis Budapest City
 

I just bought a package tour and have the choice of 2 Ibis hotels. Which Ibis hotel is better situated for a tourist? Ibis Heroes is near the Museum of Fine Arts, the park and baths. But Ibis Budapest City is much closer to the Danube and attractions. Is there one that is better than the other? Thanks very much.

Ok, I'll bite... I would pick the city location. Closer to restaurants, etc. I never realized there was an Ibis near heroes square.

Whichever you pick, they're not that far apart at all if you wanted to visit the attractions in the vicinity of both.

I've been there when it's cold and wet, yes you can take the underground but I'd rather be nearer the city.
