Brussels airport to Grand Place
 

Could someone give the best way to get from the Brussels airport to the Grand Place? Train, Taxi, Bus?? Also, is Brugges worth taking a day trip to. How much time does it take. I only have about 6 hours.
This board always saves me time, money, and confusion when travelling to a city I am unfamiliar with. Thank you.

Take the train to Brussels Centraal. It's only about 20/25 min. From the station it's a 5 min. walk to the Grand Place.
Brugge is just too far away if you have only 6 hours.

Could you tell me the approximate cost of a cab? Thanks.

Cabs are very expensive. Cost us about 35 euro from downtown hotel to airport. I think the train from Centraal is a much better option for 3 or 4 E. We had some big suitcases and did not feel like walking three blocks to train station and then manipulating them - also end of three week trip and we were tired!
