Brussels Airport has a special website for the re-start of services:
https://www.brusselsairport2203.be/

Currently, there are no train and bus services to/from the airport. Only by private car and taxi.

If you plan to fly to Brussels via Zaventem airport you should check this website regularly.

We flew from Antwerp last week, where they had 60 flights/day compared to the usual 15 or so. Line for security was an hour. On the plus side, there were free frites for people waiting in line! This is Belgium :-)

The Airport is open again.

Some of the airport is open not entire airport. Just read that delta is suspending service until 2017 on its Atlanta to Brussels route..clearly due mostly to not enough bookings. If you have a flight coming up now or for summer check to make sure it is operating..I doubt that DL is the only airline looking at this..probably affects mostly flights coming from hubs other than nyc etc in USA.

The airport is operating again. Today they had 3 outgoing and 3 incoming flights. Tomorrow (Monday) they plan to have 20 flights. Only SN Brussels flights for the time being.
The situation will be evaluated day by day but the max. capacity for the coming months will be only 20% (800 passengers per hour) of the normal capacity.
