Brussells; Flanders; Brugge & Amsterdam

Hi,
We are spending 5 days in Belguim and were wanting to visit WW1 cemeteries. We are planning something like this:
Day 1- arrive Charleroi early afternoon. Drive hire car to Ieper.
Day 2 + 3 drive around Flanders
Day 4 Drive to Brugge - drop off car
Day 5 Sometime that day train to Amsterdam.

Would this be possible?
Thinking of taking a small tour in Ieper first to get local knowledge.
How would we get the train to Amsterdam? I have tried the website but get a little confused about how many changes to make.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

"How would we get the train to Amsterdam?" Not sure I understand the question. Are you using the bahn.de website? Fastest and cheapest looks like one change in Antwerp. One change in Brussels takes a little longer and would likely cost more for the Thalys train.

If you do a search someone else recently asked about trains to Amsterdam from Brugge. The easiest is to get a train to Antwerp and then the IC to Amsterdam. Don't bother with the Thalys - it is more expensive and not much quicker.
When are you doing this trip? Do you have accommodation booked?

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling a little silly that I had missed the previous post.

Do you think we have too much cramed into these few days???

I've never driven there, but it seems to me as though you're driving quite a bit for five days total?

Since you are arriving at Charleroi I assume you will not be jet lagged, otherwise I would be worried about the first day's drive.
Otherwise to me it sounds a very doable few days. Have you booked accommodation?

We did a day trip to the Flanders Fields from Bruges. The guide was Nathan, the owner of Flanders Fields Battlefield Daytours. His knowledge is incredible and there is no way we could have done all that driving and gained so much information by ourselves in 1 day.
Why dont you stay in Bruges instead and use one of those days for the tour. There were only 4 of us on it.
His website is http://www.visitbruges.org
