Bruno Kernen's Hotel Bahnhof, Schönried
 
Planning short trip into Berner Oberland - Saanenland. Has anyone stayed at Bruno Kernen's Hotel Bahnhof in Schönried? If so, how did you find it??

No, I haven't stayed there, but I can highly recommend the Alpenrose in Schonreid. It's delightful, one of my all time favorites.

Is this Bruno Kernen by chance the Swiss national ski team skier Bruno Kernen ? Just curious.

Yes that hotel belongs to the former Swiss national ski team skier. Don't know anything else about it.<BR>

Yes, it apparently is. Michael von Gr&uuml;nigen, one of the top Swiss skiers currently on the World Cup circuit, is also from that area (around Sch&ouml;nried/Saanenmoser)...
