Brugge/Brügge (Photos)
Brugge/Brügge (in Belgium) is one of the most beautiful towns I have been to! There it chocolate every where, waffles and beer. And the most beautiful Middle age town we seen. We haven’t seen a lot yet, this was mine 20th country. But wow..

Welcome, TammyHayes, Your response to this will be post #2! I'm looking forward to seeing your shots of this gorgeous town.

Welcome to Fodors. You are not doing anything 'wrong". New members are not allowed to upload images nor include links until they have a certain number of posts.

Thanks for your help. These are pics I took myself. They're great, but the attachments from the site aren't like regular links. I'm really bummed.

I'm confused. Just a couple of days ago you were asking about a trip to Brugges or Ghent in December. And now you've been to one of them just now?
If so, go to the other city (Ghent) on your upcoming trip. |

Brugge or Bruges. Not Brugges and certainly no umlaut.
I'm confused too after your other post. |

Hmmm -- That is a bit weird. Wonder if we're being trolled?? TammyHates - maybe clear things up for us. |
Brügge is the German name (but incorrect for English), German is not spoken in that part of the country where Bruges is located.
I notice TammyHayes is visiting Portugal in December but was travelling beforehand - maybe that is now? Lavandula |

Wow, you're a keen observer. As you know, things change based on economic conditions and other factors. Yes, we have changed our direction.
Note: Unfortunately, my responses are not displayed quickly, so I can't synchronize my comments with yours. A couple of your posts including this quoted one didn't show up until just now (maybe they were caught up by the moderated spam filter??) but you have managed to confuse things even more?? Just two days ago you started a thread asking what to see in Brugge (and Ghent) this coming December https://www.fodors.com/community/eur...ruges-1725858/ yet now you are trying to post photos of Brugge. |
I would imagine that if economic factors necessitated you leaving in two days without so much of an idea where to go, you would have had the forethought to mention it then.
Something is fishy here. |
Something fishy?
Okay, I'm sorry. I won't be posting pictures or even questions in the future. |
TammyHayes, don't be too worried about the links. Quite often when one of us posts links (which you want to do, they help others), our posts go through a vetting stage and there is a delay in posting. It's frustrating but even the moderators say they don't know what the algorithm is that causes posts to disappear for a while.
I am also posting from another country (not North America) so I am not posting at the same time as other posters. I have had people suspicious of that in the past, but Fodor's is world-wide and we get posters from all over the place, in different time zones. So I am looking forward to when you post your pics of Brugge, whenever that might be. Lavandula |

Thank you to everyone who thought well or ill of me.
